Please be praying for the Christians in India as they are trying to deal with this new level of persecution. In the last few months we have seen many Christians and in some cases whole villages destroyed because of there stand for God. The Bible warns us that things like this are only going to get worse.

In First John 3: 12-14 the Bible says:

“We must not be like Cain, who joined the Evil One and then killed his brother. And why did he kill him? Because he was deep in the practice of evil, while the acts of his brother were righteous. So don’t be surprised, friends, when the world hates you. This has been going on a long time.The way we know we’ve been transferred from death to life is that we love our brothers and sisters. Anyone who doesn’t love is as good as dead. Anyone who hates a brother or sister is a murderer, and you know very well that eternal life and murder don’t go together. (The Message)

Eventually as time goes by I expect to see more and more of this kind of thing. At some point this kind of hatred and resentment will make its way to the United States. I really believe we have a very narrow window in which we will enjoy the freedoms we have today to teach and preach the gospel of Christ. Canada has already past legislation limiting the churches ability to talk about certain items from the pulpit. It will not be long before that comes here.

If you are reading my blog and have not decided to give your heart and life to Jesus Christ I beg you to do so. There will be a day when you will be forbidden to make such a choice. There will also be a day when folks like me are no longer here to tell you of God goodness. The Bible tells us in 1 Corinthians 6:1-3 that today is the day to seek help or salvation. Here it is from The Message:

“Companions as we are in this work with you, we beg you, please don’t squander one bit of this marvelous life God has given us. God reminds us,
I heard your call in the nick of time;
The day you needed me, I was there to help.
Well, now is the right time to listen, the day to be helped. Don’t put it off; don’t frustrate God’s work by showing up late, throwing a question mark over everything we’re doing. Our work as God’s servants gets validated—or not—in the details. People are watching us as we stay at our post, alertly, unswervingly . . . in hard times, tough times, bad times; when we’re beaten up, jailed, and mobbed; working hard, working late, working without eating; with pure heart, clear head, steady hand; in gentleness, holiness, and honest love; when we’re telling the truth, and when God’s showing his power; when we’re doing our best setting things right; when we’re praised, and when we’re blamed; slandered, and honored; true to our word, though distrusted; ignored by the world, but recognized by God; terrifically alive, though rumored to be dead; beaten within an inch of our lives, but refusing to die; immersed in tears, yet always filled with deep joy; living on handouts, yet enriching many; having nothing, having it all.”
