Kite Jockey’s Weblog

Well this is it. I am officially now a blogger. My wife recently started keeping a blog and she has inspired me to start my own. I do hope I can keep those who visit my blog interested and engaged, if not, I might as well go fly a kite. Which reminds me of another reason I started this blog. I am a member of a local kite flying club called the W.A.C.K.O.S (http://www.wackos.org) and lately I have been sending out emails to this great group of friends that are not always kite related. One of my kite buddies gently urged me to post my non-kite items somewhere else. So that is one of the things I am going to do in at this site. But being a kite enthusiast I am sure there will be several posts that reflect my love of the many different forms of kiting.

Along with kite stuff you can expect to see many other topics covered here that interest me and I hope will interest a few of you as well. Some will be about my second home town of Charlotte, NC and others will be about friends and family. I am not very political but from time to time I may post something of a political nature. I do consider myself a born again Jesus follower and so at times my posts will reflect this part of my life.

Just a word of caution about me as a writer, although I am a technical trainer and writer I am not the best with words and spelling in particular. So I am going to do the best I can to make what I write about flow and for the most part, I will also try to make sure that I spell words correctly and use them in the correct context, but I make no promises. So just know you have been warned. Replies to post that point out such errors may not get much love from me. So keep that in mind as you read on…
